Day at the farm

 

Good thing we left Maddy home from this adventure as her howling might have raised a stir in the farm animals ....

Whidbey Island

We took a day trip out to Whidbey Island today.  It's only about an hour away from Seattle (including the ferry ride) but it feels very rural.  We spent a lot of time on the beach, which was by far Maddy's favorite part of the trip.  We've had beautiful weather here for the past several weeks so we've been trying to take advantage of it before the gray days return.
