Grandpa Murray's visit and Santa Clause
Grandpa Murray came to visit for the weekend. We had great fun. We were able to get out of the house without the kids and also do odds and ends while the kids played with Grandpa. After Grandpa left for Phoenix, we went over to our friends house for a surprise visit from Santa Clause. Micah didn't enjoy meeting him but Mina liked his white beard.
New House in time for the Holidays
It's been a long time since our last post but for a good reason. We bought a house and have been settling in. We love the neighborhood and we love having more space. We have a great view of the Lake Union, Mount Rainier and the downtown skyline, especially from the master suite. Here are some pictures. The unfinished room should be finished by the end of this week and will be Jessica's piano room.

Micah and the humongous glasses
We've been busy lately... but our big news is that we just bought a house! We're very excited that we were able to find a place that met all of our requirements and be in an urban location. Both kids will finally have their own rooms. Seth will have an office and we even have a separate music room for the piano! We'll be moving in mid-December so we'll be quite busy in the coming weeks.
Here are some funny pictures of Micah with his silly glasses!

The Farm
Seth took the afternoon off on Wednesday and we took the kids to a pumpkin patch. The Farm, as it's called, is about 45 minutes away from Seattle. Not only did they have a huge pumpkin patch, they also had a hay barn, a petting zoo with lots of animals and a room filled with dried corn. Micah especially had an awesome time.

San Francisco
We went to San Francisco for Elizabeth and Kevin's wedding. It was at a resort-type place in Los Gatos that looked like a place out of a movie. It was filled with animal sculptures, and even a working train. Micah especially had fun feeding all the fish in the koi pond. It was a very short trip but we were able to do and see lots of things. We were even able to fit in a campus tour of Stanford University.
As luck would have it, Grandpa Murray was in SF for business so the whole family was able to meet up for brunch before we left the city.

New happenings
Our neighborhood park finally opened! It's located at the southern most tip of Lake Union and it's a fantastic park. It's also right across the street from our building. There was a huge opening celebration yesterday so we spent the morning eating junk food and listening to various bands. Micah had so much fun splashing around the water fountains that are placed all along the sidewalks. Catherine also stopped by for the weekend in the midst of a whirlwind of business trips. We all had a great time!
