Micah Likes Mozart

Micah has been getting fussy now and then, waking Mommy and Daddy at all hours of the night. Thankfully, Micah has an appreciation for Mozart, the piano sonatas in particular. This appreciation was likely cultivated during Jessica's time practicing while Micah was in the womb. See for yourself how music puts a smile on Micah's face.

Micah Sucks his thumb!

Micah can now suck his thumb (left). Daddy explained to Micah that he should not form a habit of sucking his thumb otherwise he may need braces someday (right).

Micah Meets Mommy's Side

Monday May 12: Mommy's Due Date
Micah was very excited to meet Jessica' s Hal-mo-ni as well as his great aunts and uncles this week end. Micah's hal-mo-ni was very generous and allowed the rest of the family to hold the baby.

Jekyu's pictures

Jekyu and the family stopped by. We couldn't believe how big Vivian had become. She is already walking and talking and pretending everything in our home is a telephone. As always, Jekyu came ready to snap some photos and he did an incredible job.

Hangin' with Hal-mo-ni

Hal-mo-ni (Micah's grandma) came by with the girls. Micah had a great time. He loves to entertain (by that I mean he loves to sleep and have people watch him). Hal-mo-ni managed to let some other people hold the baby.

Whew! Made it through the bris...

Micah's bris came and went, thank god, uneventfully. Micah was very brave and was smiling and cooing by the end of the evening. Mommy, on the other hand, nearly had a heart attack and is still recoverying psychologically. Norman did not get a new bris story ... although when the mohel was running late he did call and say "don't start without me."

Micah Meets his Great-Grandma and Uncle Preston

Micah finally met his great-grandmother and uncle preston. Laura brought cup cakes which were supposed to be the best in city - even better than cakelove. We all thought they were excellent.
