We had such a fantastic time at the baby shower. Thanks so much to those of you who came and a special thanks to Catherine and Soup for throwing such a beautiful event! We feel so thankful to have such wonderful friends.
So far, we have most things that we'll need for the baby. We have basic things such as a bottle sterilizer to more extravagant things like Tiffany's silver spoon and the Bugaboo stroller.
Recently, Seth was awarded the Resident Research Award at GW and gave a talk during GW's research day. He was also elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, a prestigious medical honor society. He's working long hours at the hospital right now but in couple of weeks, things will slow down significantly. Jessica continues to teach and plans do so until 2 weeks before the due date. She's having a difficult time practicing because her hands are so swollen and her tummy is so big. But she won't let it stand in the way of her plan to learn all of the Chopin Op.10 Etudes before the baby arrives.
