Our New Home!

We finally made it to our new home in Seattle. Micah did great on the plane and Maddy was only slightly traumatized. Our new house has an amazing back yard that is really more like a forest than a yard. Its hard to believe we're in the middle of the city with all the nature and old trees around; it feels more like a national park. There is a creek in the back yard -- salmon spawn there but only 3 days out of the year. Our cars have arrived in Seattle but our belongings are still in a Maryland warehouse.

Hello from Seattle!!!

Hello From Seattle! We can't wait to tell you all about our new home but first we wanted to show you some of the pictures Jekyu took of us during the week and a half we stayed with Jessica's family. This was a great time for us, mainly because her parents took care of Micah every night. It was so nice to have a good night's sleep!

Our last days in DC

We have now moved out of our condo and are living with Jessica's parents until Sunday. It's been really nice to have Jessica's parents around to help with Micah and we both feel as though we are on vacation!

During our last days, we've had many friends that came by to say good bye and to meet the baby. Jessica was especially happy that Spencer and Dave (her close friends from Juilliard) came by. Dave thought that we should upload Micah's Mozart video on YouTube. We'll work on that!

GW had its End of the Year party at Four Seasons a few days ago and we had a great time. Seth was awarded the Resident of the Year Award from the VA hospital. After 7 years at GW, Seth felt a little sad to be leaving but is looking forward to Fred Hutchinson!

Meeting Mikey and Amanda

Micah is becoming a very big boy! He has gained more than 3 pounds in 5 weeks. Jessica is also happy to report that Micah's wakes up every 3-4 hours at night instead of every 2 hours!

Micah met Jessica's cousin Mike and Amanda for the first time yesterday. Mike just returned from Iraq and will be getting married in December.

We are moving out of our beloved condo in TWO DAYS and are very busy packing at the moment. We'll be staying at Jessica's parents' house until the 22nd when we finally leave for Seattle!
